We advocate for abundant, affordable housing and inclusive, sustainable communities across Puget Sound.
Together we can make housing more affordable for everyday people, undo decades of residential segregation, and fight the climate crisis.

Monthly Happy Hour
Join us for our next happy hour on March 28! This time we'll be hosting a special workshop on how to comment on the Comprehensive Plan, so please bring a mobile device that can connect to the internet. We'll discuss the different sections of the plan, what the proposed changes are, and why it doesn't plan for enough growth. It's going to be a fun time! Hope to see you there.

Who we are
Seattle YIMBY is a member-driven, volunteer-based organization. We are residents of Seattle. We are a mix of long-time residents and newcomers, renters and homeowners, business owners and employees, families and individuals, citizens and immigrants, commuters, bus riders, cyclists and pedestrians.
We always welcome new members and volunteers who want to join the movement for abundant housing, and bring their individual perspective and experience to the movement.
We want a more affordable and sustainable Seattle
We see friends, family, and coworkers priced out of our area. We see sprawl consuming acres of wilderness and increasing the number of cars on the road. And we see an alternative. Seattle can be an affordable and inclusive community. We can make Seattle a place where everyone has a home, and where a car isn't required for your everyday needs.
